Concussion Testing

Baseline Concussion Testing

If you are required to take the ImPACT Baseline Concussion test for the 2017-2018 high school hockey season, please refer to the PDF (Baseline Concussion Home Testing 2017-18) and follow the instructions.

The PDF is NOT the test, it contains instructions on taking the test, a sample of the test questions and a link and pass code to access the online test; the organization has found that when players and parents review the information contained in the PDF prior to taking the test, it makes for a better test.

Once the  ImPACT Baseline Concussion test is completed, please email the date the player completed the test to Coppell High School Hockey at coppellhockey@yahoo.com.

ImPACT Post Injury Test

It is strongly recommended that any player who receives a concussion during AT&T High School League play sit out a minimum of fourteen (14) days.  The league encourages players to be examined by, and obtain a signed written medical release from, a MD/DO before they return to play.  It is suggested that any player without the written release should not participate in practices or games until after the fourteenth (14th) day period.
